A walkthrough of KlientLab

The work. The team.
The client. Together.

Follow one website project from an agreed scope to a client invoice. See how a small team keeps decisions, delivery, and the client experience connected.

Actual product screens. Fictional sample business and client. Features vary by plan.

01 / The agreement

Start with a scope both sides can review.

A project should begin with a shared understanding. Put the work, priced phases, and deposit terms into a quote, then give the client a clear approval decision.

  • Keep the scope and its project together.
  • Break the price into understandable phases.
  • Keep a record of the client’s decision.

Quotes are available on every plan. Invoice sending requires Pro or Business.

02 / Your team workspace

One team. A shared view of the work.

Bring your colleagues into the same workspace. Give deliverables named owners, then see who has open work, what is due soon, and where a handoff needs attention.

  • Invite colleagues with their own accounts.
  • Assign deliverables instead of relying on a message someone might miss.
  • Compare open, upcoming, overdue, and completed tasks.

Team accounts and workload view are included in Business.

03 / The delivery plan

Turn “we’re working on it” into visible progress.

Build a delivery plan with phases, owners, dates, and clear statuses. Start from a website, IT rollout, or consulting template and adapt it to the agreement.

  • Keep feedback beside the deliverable it belongs to.
  • Use My Work and Schedule to find the next action.
  • Track checks and issues before handoff on Pro or Business.

Project delivery is available on every plan. Business adds waterfall scheduling and Gantt charts.

04 / The client experience

Give your client somewhere to look before they ask.

Your client gets their own portal to see the work shared with them, follow progress, and review decisions. It is a different view from the workspace your team uses.

  • Keep project information in one place.
  • Review quotes and changes with a recorded decision.
  • Find shared files, conversations, and invoices.

Client portal access is included on every plan. Clients are invited at no extra cost.

05 / The change request

“Could we also add…” becomes a clear decision.

A new integration does not have to become an invisible addition to the workload. Describe the request and its cost and timing impact, then ask the client to decide.

  • Make the extra work explicit before starting it.
  • Show the effect on the budget and delivery date.
  • Keep the client’s response with the project.

Change orders are included in Pro and Business.

06 / The invoice

Send an invoice with the work behind it.

Prepare an invoice, review the line items, and send the client a payment link. Connect your Stripe account to collect online payments and keep payment status with the project.

  • Create clear line items and payment dates.
  • Let clients find invoices in their portal or email.
  • See payment status after Stripe confirms payment.

Draft invoices are available on Free. Sending and payments require Pro or Business; Stripe setup and payment-processing fees apply.
